EIS fund overview
In each fun OnePlanetCapital Climate Change EIS targets 6-8 early stage companies that have potential global reach and impact and sit within our fund pillars of energy, transport, built environment, waste & recycling and climate technology.
The fund will manage risk by focusing largely on post revenue companies with clear paths to profitability. Stringent investment criteria coupled with an experienced investment team ensures that invested companies are aligned with the impact objectives of the fund.

The driving force behind the formation of One Planet Capital came from the founders shared concern for our planet.
Our mission is to raise 100m GBP for businesses solving issues across Co2 emissions, environmental protection, consumer sustainability and recycling. From an investor point of view the green industrial revolution obviously represents a huge opportunity as we transfer very quickly to a low carbon economy.
Environmental impact
A core part of our due diligence process and assessment of companies is evidencing the environmental impact created. We use the UN Sustainable Development Goals as our primary assessment tool in addition to specific environmental assessments. Each investment is assessed on its ability to reduce carbon emissions.
Experience & track record
The team has a track record of achieving significant upside for previous EIS investors. The OnePlanetCapital team has a blend of corporate finance experience and hands on entrepreneurial experience backed up with a panel of environmental expertise. The OnePlanetCapital team have been investing in this space for some time and have an excellent network for deal flow.

Previous investments from OnePlanetCapital
The target portfolio of each investor will be 6-8 companies. The fund focuses on post revenue investments into early stage companies. In most cases businesses will already have a product or service in the market and will be making revenue from that product or service. I.e. the capital will be required for scale up. The majority of investments the Fund will make will be post seed and pre Series A. The overall investment size is likely to be between 500,000 GBP and 1000,000 GBP.
