OnePlanetCapital invests into bio-plastics business, Kelpi

OnePlanetCapital has recently invested into Kelpi a company that is replacing single-use plastics with premium performance bioplastics that harness the novel properties and environmental benefits of seaweed.

Travel to pretty much any beach or river the world over and one can witness first hand the scourge of plastic. Single-use plastic is particularly abhorrent and massively under recycled. Kelpi is trying to combat the problem by replacing plastic with seaweed for packaging. The problem is enormous and therefore the market huge and we believe one that Kelpi is uniquely positioned to capitalise on with commercial success.
